Partnerships
Arizona State Parks Foundation partners with Northern Arizona University to develop and fund specific projects facilitated by professionals, university staff and students.
The Verde Valley Initiatives describes two projects undertaken by the Ecological Monitoring and Assessment Program at Northern Arizona University that directly impact the Verde River Greenway, a state natural area within the Arizona State Parks system. They are: Verde River Ecosystem Values Project and Verde River Science Outreach and Education Project.
This partnership is a prototype for future efforts between ASPF, NAU and other institutions of higher learning.
